Support Plans
Support plans are for children who require something additional and different to be able to remove barriers to learning and enable them to thrive at school. There could be a number of reasons why children need a support plan, such as cognitive difficulties, speech and language delays, physical disability, neurodiversity, social, emotional and mental health issues or a combination of several factors. Our support plans are designed to be child-centred and focussed on meaningful targets that are both challenging and achievable. Every child's support plan is different. Some children need a very specific learning resource available to them to access leanring such as a word bank for writing or a piece of blue tac for concentration/dopamine, whilst others require an entirely different learning approach or a bespoke curriculum. Whatever your child's needs, we will work hard to ensure their voice, and the voice of parents/carers is echoed in these plans through regular meetings and reviews.
