Our Classes

Our classes are structured to maximise the creative learning potential of our mixed-age cohorts, whilst still maintaining clarity about developmental milestones and age-related expectations. Roots and Shoots use Class One as their base, sometimes learning together, sometimes learning separately, and frequently learning outside. Forests and Fields use Class 2 as their base, sometimes learning together, sometimes learning separately. Children in all year groups sometimes work in very small groups or 1:1 with an adult outside the classroom, either to support or extend their learning.
